Got bored with what I had already made in the fridge tonight. I raided the pantry and came up with this:

BBQ pork chops
Cheese grits
Balsamic green beans

Southern classic! So yummy!

New Years

So my resolution this year is to start being on time! I am trying to take it slow. You know not get my hopes up that all of a sudden I will be on time all the time. I read to start focusing on the time you need to leave instead of the time you need to arrive. Thought that was a great point! If the weather would stop being so cold and rainy that would help a lot too - especially in the mornings!

Anyone have any more tips?

Also, the speaker at a conference today at church said something that I hope to take with me into the new year. " This year you will not bring the hurt from 2012 into 2013." He was talking about financial debt but it hit me on a different level. I faced some hurt last year that made me a better and stronger person but it was so painful to go through. I want to take the growth from this and move ahead. Hopefully I can do this while keeping the no good memories in 2012. That is how you "grow up" right?
